Pioneering cooperation with Abacus and Pensionskasse St. Gallen for apartment rental of the future
Both of the technology companies based in eastern Switzerland, the proptech start-up, emonitor, and the manufacturers of business software, Abacus Research, are cooperating with each other. On behalf of Pensionskasse Stadt St. Gallen, the AbaImmo real estate management software will be linked with the melon rental solution by emonitor. In doing so, an electronic reporting process is being created for the first time, which comprehensively makes important key figures and analyses available in real time.

The joint project of the companies will ensure a consistent rental process. It integrates all work steps from the first contact to a potential tenant of an apartment, to the automatic generation of a contract, right up to the service charge statement. All steps are illustrated in a digital system landscape. For the first time, evaluations can be retrieved in real time from this, such as regarding the current vacancy rates. This makes the complex manual preparation of reporting for stakeholders unnecessary.
All those involved benefit
Owners, managers and also the tenant therefore benefit from an improved cooperation between marketing and management. This saves time and reduces errors. From the collected data, information and consequently, market intelligence, can be obtained about the demand.
Pensionskasse Stadt St. Gallen as a pioneer
The project was initiated by Pensionskasse Stadt St. Gallen, which is currently in a digitization process. It is moving away from classic apartment tenants and intends to make it even easier for their interested parties to become tenants. It is thereby taking on a pioneering role.

For example, we will be in a position to use these for planning our projects even better and avoiding vacancies.”
