1. What personal data do we process, for what purposes and on what basis?
1.1 When you visit our website
When you visit our website, the server automatically logs general technical visiting information. This data includes, for example, the IP address and operating system of your device, the type of browser you use to access our website, the date and time of access and the website from which you visit us.
We use cookies and other tracking technologies to ensure the functionality of our website and to make it more user-friendly, to evaluate the use of our website, to collect information to improve our offer, and for marketing purposes.

Clearbit is powered by APIHub Inc. Clearbit has developed a business intelligence API that helps businesses get more information about their customers to increase sales and reduce fraud. 1.2 If you are interested in our software or use it as our customer
If you are interested in our software solutions or use them as our customer, we process the following categories of your personal data:
(d) contact details,
(e) communication data (emails, telephone logs, etc.),
(f) billing and payment details,
(g) login and other user data,
(h) technical data.
We process this personal data for the following purposes:
(i) to conclude and fulfill the contract for the use of our software and to enforce claims therefrom,
(j) on the basis of our legitimate interests in communicating with you (also outside of the preparation or conclusion of a contract), optimizing your user experience, improving and expanding our offers, ensuring IT security and data protection and enforcing legal claims or to defend
(k) to comply with legal obligations.
Based on our interest in informing people who are interested in our offers about new developments, we can send you marketing information (e.g. via a newsletter). You have the option to opt out of receiving such information at any time.
1.3 If you use our software as a prospective tenant or buyer
If you use our software as a prospective tenant or buyer, we process the following categories of your personal data:
(l) contact details and other relevant personal data (e.g. age, marital status),
(m) Information about the household (number of persons etc.),
(n) data on work activities and your financial circumstances (including creditworthiness),
(o) desired rental/purchase objects,
(p) references,
(q) Communications Data,
(r) other information you provide to us (reason for moving house, type of security deposit, etc.).
We process this personal data as a processor on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of our customer whose residential property you are interested in. The processing purposes are determined by our customer as data controller; our software processes your personal data for the following purposes:
(s) so that our customer can evaluate applications received, decide on the allocation of the advertised object(s) and, if necessary, conclude a corresponding contract with you,
(t) based on legitimate interests to improve the user experience and to further develop the software.
In addition, we process your personal data for non-personal modeling and analysis purposes, for example to develop demand models or other evaluations. Before using it, we take appropriate measures to make your personal data anonymous or to otherwise prevent the identifiability of your person as best as possible. The models and evaluations created from your data will only be published or otherwise passed on if it is no longer possible to draw any conclusions about you.
2. In what cases and how do we pass on your personal data to third parties?
We may share your personal information:
(u) to IT service providers and other third-party providers whose services we use for the purposes described in this data protection declaration,
(v) as necessary to comply with legal obligations or to enforce or defend legitimate interests such as legal claims,
(w) to third parties to whom we transfer or merge all or part of our business.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
For transfers to countries outside of Switzerland, the EU and the EEA, we use standard contractual clauses, supplemented with additional security measures where necessary and possible.
3. Data Security
We protect your personal data with appropriate technical and organizational security measures against unintentional, illegal or unauthorized manipulation, deletion, modification, access, disclosure, use or loss.
Personal data in our software is protected in particular by the following security measures:
(x) database location Switzerland,
(y) encrypted connections,
(z) secured, certified servers,
(aa) server monitoring,
(bb) regular backups,
(cc) access restrictions on employees with Need to Know,
(dd) training of employees.
4. How long do we keep your personal data?
We store your personal data only for as long and to the extent necessary for the purposes described or for legal reasons.
5. What rights do you have in connection with your personal data?
Subject to the requirements of the applicable data protection law, you have the following rights in connection with your personal data:
(ee) Right to information about the personal data that we process from you,
(ff) right to rectification of incorrect personal data,
(gg) right to erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”),
(hh) right to restrict the processing of your personal data,
(ii) right to data portability (transfer of your personal data to you or a third party designated by you),
(jj) Right to object to the processing of your personal data.
Please note that exceptions apply to these rights. In particular, we may be obliged to further process your personal data in order to fulfill a contract, to protect our own legitimate interests such as the defense of legal claims, or to comply with legal obligations. In these cases, we can or must therefore reject certain requests or only comply with them to a limited extent.
